Ann got it. Lee hated his job and he was stressed about finances. The problem was that he treated her like she was the object of his frustrations. The subway rattled it's way to the 50th Street station. Marguarite nervously shifted her dance bag as she got off the train. The sea of humanity pushed her up the stairs and out onto the street. The street where I lived was not a quiet street. It was alive with noise, movement, and life. There were always some kids playing handball against the apartment building wall. The womp of the ball and their calls of "I got it," creating a rhythm. More often than not, elderly Mrs. Gorman was yelling at them to behave from the folding chair on her front stoop.
